Briefs by kind of product

Each page is a brief template for that product, and it says what to ask a creator.

• Mobile app Ask for a screen recording of one task from start to finish, with the creator's voice over it. One task shown well is better than a tour of every screen.
• Software tool Say who uses the tool, so a creator who knows that work answers. Ask them to show the problem first, and then the one screen that solves it.
• Browser extension Ask the creator to install it on camera, so the buyer sees how short that is. Then ask for the same page with the extension off and on.
• Desktop app Say if it runs on Mac or on Windows, so the creator can run it. Ask for a real piece of work made with it, from the empty file to the result.
• Course Ask the creator to take one lesson and to show what they made after it. Give access to the whole course, and say which lessons the video may show.
• Digital template An empty template shows nothing. Ask the creator to fill it with their own week, on screen. Say which program the buyer needs to open it.

You give access by email after you pick, with an account, a code, or a test version. Say in the brief if the product costs money, so the creator knows you will give it free.

Do I have to be a company?

No. One person with a product is enough. You pay the creator yourself.
